M&S café brings back Yorkshire Pudding Wraps for autumn

Marks & Spencer has brought back its Yorkshire Pudding Wraps to café menus this autumn, and fans are making special trips to try the seasonal favourite. The item, which first launched on September 4, 2024, replaces the usual bread or tortilla with a large, soft Yorkshire pudding filled with roast dinner-inspired ingredients.

Three meat-filled options on the menu

The café offers three distinct wraps. The Slow-Cooked Beef & Stuffing version contains shredded British beef, sage and onion stuffing, Dutch-style red cabbage, and rich beef gravy. The Roast Chicken & Stuffing wrap is filled with British roast chicken, sage and onion stuffing, shredded cabbage, carrots, and gravy. Both are served hot and toasted.

The third option is the Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork Yorkshire Pudding Wrap, featuring 6-hour slow-cooked British pulled pork, creamy leeks, sage and onion stuffing, and a Kentish apple cider sauce.

Viral return sparks fan reactions

When the wraps first appeared, they became a viral sensation on social media, leading M&S to make them a regular seasonal fixture. Influencer James Andrew announced the return to his 127,000 Instagram followers, drawing enthusiastic replies such as "Oh wow" and "Oh my God, I really need to get this."

Not everyone was won over. One person wrote: "I wish they made a vegetarian version. I have to wait for the Xmas markets to have an overpriced one." Another echoed: "No veggie options again!" Someone else called the £8.50 café price "ridiculous".

Retail versions also available

Vegetarian café alternatives include the Roasted Courgette and Feta Frittata, Mediterranean Poached Eggs, or hot toasted paninis. M&S also stocks chilled retail versions of the wraps in Foodhall fridges, priced at £7 compared to £8.50 in the café.

The retail wraps are sold uncooked and chilled, designed to be heated at home in an air fryer for approximately 10–13 minutes or in an oven for about 18 minutes. The chilled variant has a slightly altered recipe, with the Beef wrap containing roasted carrots, spring greens, hot horseradish sauce, and a cheese béchamel sauce alongside the slow-cooked British beef.
