Morrisons shoppers baffled by Sweet Christmas Pizza

Morrisons has launched a new festive dessert that has left shoppers questioning whether it is a joke. The supermarket's 'Sweet Christmas Pizza' features pieces of Terry's Chocolate Orange and biscuit crumbs, with the traditional tomato base swapped for sweet ingredients.

The product was shared on Instagram by the account @newfoodsuk, which posted: "Terry's Chocolate Orange Pizza spotted at Morrisons!" The post drew hundreds of comments from confused customers.

Shoppers question the festive dessert

One shopper asked: "Is it a joke?" Another wrote: "This has to be left over from April Fool's Day!" A third commented: "I cannot believe this is real," while a fourth added: "I love pizza, and I love Chocolate Orange, but not sure about together."

The item has been spotted in various stores and is available on the supermarket's website for £4.

Morrisons festive range

Alongside the Sweet Christmas Pizza, Morrisons has launched a range of festive desserts, including a limoncello and clementine twist, starry night profiterole stack, and deep filled mince pies.
