Morrisons has launched a major toy sale, offering 50% off popular children's brands including Peppa Pig, Super Mario, and L.O.L. Dolls. The sale is available at 423 stores across the UK while stocks last.
Examples of discounts include the Peppa Pig's Wooden Playhouse at £52.50 (down from £105) and the Shimmer 'n Sparkle InstaGlam On The Glo Makeup Trolley for £47.50 (down from £95). The Rainbow High Fashion Studio is also half price at £30.
Other deals include a Barbie Pet Supply Store and Radio Control Car, both at £26.50 (saving over a third), and the Play-Doh Colourful Cafe Playset at £33 (also with a third off). Morrisons toy buyer David Catton said: 'We know that customers are under real financial pressure at the moment and want to help them when it comes to their Christmas shopping.'
The supermarket is not the only one offering pre-Christmas toy discounts; Tesco has also launched a sale with up to 50% off, but requires a Clubcard for the reduced prices. Morrisons' sale aims to help parents spread the cost of the festive season amid high inflation.
