Mini Cheddars has brought back two popular limited-edition flavours after a four-year absence. Cheese Pizza and Cheeseburger varieties are now available to buy in six-packs, offering shoppers the chance to stock up while they last.
Returning flavours
The Cheese Pizza flavour combines the brand's familiar crunchy texture with a pizza-inspired seasoning, designed to capture the taste of a cheesy slice. The Cheeseburger variety aims to recreate burger-style flavours in Mini Cheddars' signature bite-sized pieces.
Both flavours previously appeared as limited-edition releases in June 2022. The new additions are only available for a limited time, so snack fans hoping to try them will need to act fast.
Fans react
On Facebook, one person said 'these look tasty,' while another fan said 'These are banging.' 'Oooh, got to try these,' added another. One customer wrote 'A whole bag of cheese pizza just for me,' apparently not in the mood to share the six-pack.
Background
The crunchy, cheese-packed bites have been a staple for more than four decades. Over the years, Mini Cheddars have expanded beyond their classic cheese flavour, introducing varieties including cheese & onion, smoky BBQ, and cheese & pickle.
Speaking four years ago, Leighton Wall, marketing director – savoury at Pladis UK&I, who own Jacob's Mini Cheddars, told Better Retailing: 'By launching limited-edition cheesy street food-inspired NPD, we're aiming to accelerate this and unlock new sales opportunities for our retail customers, particularly around the lunchtime treat occasion – whether shoppers are elevating an at-home lunch or grabbing an individual packet to enjoy a moment of cheeky, cheesy pleasure on the move.'
