The medicube Zero Pore Pad Mild 2.0, a K-beauty product featured in Molly-Mae Hague's nighttime skincare routine, is currently discounted on Amazon. The influencer and former Love Island contestant has previously shared that the product 'changed the clarity' of her skin.
In a YouTube vlog last year, Molly-Mae showcased the medicube Toner Pads Zero Pore Pad Mild 2.0 as part of her nighttime routine. The mum-of-two said she noticed a significant improvement in her skin after using them for two weeks.
Price cut and product details
The medicube Toner Pads Zero Pore Pad Mild 2.0 are currently reduced by 27 per cent on Amazon until Sunday, August 30. The pads are down from £16.90 to £12.30.
Created as dual-sided toner pads, they gently exfoliate while maintaining skin hydration and calmness, making them suitable for daily application. The pads are enriched with PHA, a gentle exfoliating acid that helps remove dead skin cells without irritation, along with panthenol to hydrate and strengthen the skin barrier, and madecassoside to soothe and reduce redness.
One side delicately smooths and refines texture, while the softer side is said to boost moisture and prepare skin for subsequent steps in your routine. They are described as 'perfect for those concerned about enlarged pores, seeking smoother skin, battling greasy skin from excess sebum, or troubled by blackheads and whiteheads'.
Customer reviews and alternatives
The medicube Toner Pads Zero Pore Pad Mild 2.0 are considered suitable for sensitive skin, as they deliver results without causing irritation, and unlike the original formula, contain no added fragrance.
The product currently holds a 4.6-star rating on Amazon at the time of writing. One customer, Rob, said: "Love these pads they leave my skin glowing. They are perfect for sensitive skin. I am highly sensitive and these don't irritate me. The double sided makes them both exfoliating and moisturising."
Angelina commented: "These are fabulous and make your skin glow and dewy. Only need one pad for the whole face as they have so much product on them. Really impressed and would definitely recommend, I normally spend a lot of money on skincare products so wasn't expecting them to be as good as they are but they are a good as a lot of high end high priced products."
Kate shared: "Lovely to use, lightweight on the skin and do actually feel they have made a difference to my pores. I tried the non mild version, it is much heavier and sticky on the skin so I will be going back to the mild one. Not oily, greasy or drying. Just perfect to use in the evening after cleansing."
However, Olivia remarked: "I don't know if it's just me but I haven't really seen much of a difference in my pores with using these for two months. They have been really refreshing to use after washing my face, and make my face feel lovely and clean afterwards. But I probably won't be buying them anymore. I do wonder if it's because they are sensitive pads though."
Another customer noted: "I'm glad I started with the mild version as my skin is sensitive and these were perfect. Easy to use, they stay hydrated in their tub and they do the job. Even after cleansing, they really get into the pores."
Meanwhile, Selfridges stocks the COSRX One Step Moisture Up Pads for £21.99, claimed to 'provide hydration, smooth rough skin, exfoliate dead skin cells and strengthen skin barrier'. Boots carries the No7 Good Intent Pore Buff Clarifying Acid Pads for £14.95, infused with salicylic, glycolic and lactic acid, and 'designed for gentle, refreshing exfoliation'.
