McVitie's has announced that a Christmas version of its popular Penguin biscuit will hit UK supermarket shelves from September. The new McVitie's Christmas Penguin Milk Chocolate Treat is shaped like the iconic Penguin character and made with creamy milk chocolate, filled with chocolatey cream and crunchy Penguin biscuit pieces.
Priced at £1, the treat is described by the company as "a playful alternative to the traditional Santas and Reindeers," adding "a little extra joy and excitement to stockings, festive movie nights and well-earned seasonal treats."
Returning Festive Favourites
Other Christmas treats returning to stores next month include the Family Circle biscuit selection, costing £3, which features Chocolate Digestives, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Jam Creams, Bourbons and Custard Creams.
The McVitie's Victoria Classic Biscuits Selection will also return, with the company stating it has been "elevated for 2026" to feature nine biscuit varieties. The assortment includes White Chocolate Digestives, Milk Chocolate Hobnobs, and the returning Thick Milk Chocolate Oatie, alongside new Hobnob Chocolate Creams and Digestive Chocolate Creams.
Availability and Range
Gingerbread digestives and other biscuit selection boxes are also being released to stores next month. The McVitie's festive range will be available from September in selected UK retailers, including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda, Morrisons, Co-op and Ocado.
