McDonald's has confirmed that its Green Apple x Sprite Zero drink will return to menus across the UK and Ireland from July 14, priced at £2.29. The fan-favourite beverage was last available in 2025 and is being brought back in response to popular demand, just in time for the hot summer weather.
Summer Menu Changes
The fast-food chain is also discontinuing its Vanilla Matcha Frappe, which launched last month as part of the matcha trend. Customers can purchase the Vanilla Matcha Frappe, described as the “ultimate summer sip” and “drink of the summer,” for £3.69 (medium) only until July 13. The drink is made with matcha green tea, sweet vanilla syrup, ice, and cream.
According to McDonald's, the Green Apple x Sprite Zero offers a “cool, crisp and refreshing pick-me-up all season long.” The drink is made with Sprite Zero and a sugar-free apple-flavoured syrup, giving it a bright green colour, and is served over ice.
Other Summer Drinks
McDonald's has introduced additional summer beverages, including a new Strawberry Candyfloss Frappe, which blends strawberry flavour with sweet candyfloss notes, topped with cream and colourful sprinkles. The Frozen Cherry Lemonade remains available, but the chain has indicated it will be replaced by Strawberry Frozen Lemonade in August, encouraging fans to enjoy it while they can.
