Lovisa, a popular high street jewellery brand, has announced plans to open a new flagship store in Cardiff's St David's shopping centre. This will be the brand's second location in the Welsh capital, joining its existing store near M&S.
New Store Details
The new store will be situated on the first floor of the Grand Arcade, close to Hollister and Sephora. It will showcase up to 15,000 different styles of jewellery and accessories, along with a professional piercing studio. The opening date has yet to be announced.
Expansion at St David's
Lovisa is one of several brands expanding at St David's. Before Christmas, a large Sephora store opened, drawing eager crowds. POP MART, a global collectibles brand, is also set to open its first Welsh store at the centre later this month.
Steven Malcolm, regional manager at Lovisa, said: “Lovisa is a brand born out of a passion for offering fashionable jewellery at affordable prices. Our creative team draws inspiration from couture runways and street trends worldwide. After the success of our first Cardiff store, we are launching a new concept here, with only four ‘series 5’ stores in the UK featuring our new pink piercing studio.”
Helen Morgan, centre director at St David’s, added: “Lovisa is already popular with our guests, and we are delighted that the brand has seen so much success at St David’s. We look forward to sharing an opening date soon.”
Shoppers have expressed excitement about the new store. One wrote: “Love the shop already. A bigger one will be amazing.”
