Love to Dream's popular Swaddle Up swaddle is now available in a new hazel colour, part of the brand's Halloween baby range. The £29.99 swaddle is designed to support a natural arms-up sleep position, offering a secure fit in seconds and aiming to mimic a womb-like feeling to calm the startle reflex.
Features and availability
The swaddle features a simple two-way zip for easy nappy changes, and the new hazel design comes in a viscose from bamboo material with a 1 tog design. It is available in sizes ranging from newborn to small and medium.
Other colours are available in cotton, viscose from bamboo, and organic cotton with various tog choices. The Halloween range also includes pyjamas in babygrow (£24.99), short sleeve (£26.99), and long sleeve (£29.99) designs.
Bundles and alternatives
Shoppers can purchase bundles such as the Swaddle Up & Babygrow Bundle for £50 (RRP £59.98), which includes the hazel Swaddle Up and a black cat babygrow. For older children, the Sleep Bag & Pyjama Bundle is £60 (was £72.98).
Other swaddles on the market include Momcozy's Easy Swaddle Wrap for 0-3M at £32.99, featuring a quiet velcro design, and Mamas & Papas' Dreampod Swaddle (1.0 Tog) Bunny at £25, available in newborn and 0-3 month sizes.
Parent reviews
While the new hazel design has yet to receive ratings, reviews of other Swaddle Up colours are mostly positive. One parent said: "Softest swaddle ever. This swaddle is just perfect. The softest fabric and my little girl just loves it."
Another added: "The best way to put my baby to sleep. There is nothing else that I'd use for my little one to sleep in, she absolutely loves the swaddle and I really like the bamboo one, especially in the warmer months it feels so light and still allows her to comfortably move."
A third commented: "We had these with our first born, and knew we'd be buying again as they changed our lives. Both babies have never slept so well!" One Trustpilot user reported an error with their order, saying they received two newborn swaddles instead of a small.
