Boots has slashed the price of a popular Liz Earle moisturiser as part of its weekly £10 Tuesday offers. The Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Cream 50ml is now available for £10, down from its usual £28, for one day only.
The cream, which has a 4.7-star rating from shoppers, is described as a lightweight, plant-powered moisturiser that locks in moisture and restores balance to all skin types, including sensitive skin. Boots says it offers a scientifically proven intensive moisture boost for up to 72 hours of balanced hydration, with ingredients including plant-based hyaluronic acid, borage seed oil, avocado oil, echinacea and hops.
Fans of the product have praised its texture and performance. One shopper wrote: “This light cream leaves my normal skin type amply moisturised. I also like how my makeup sits flawlessly over it.” Another said: “Light as air day cream. Lovely and light moisturiser, blends in beautifully.” A long-term user added: “It layers well with daily SPF.”
However, one customer expressed disappointment after finding an air bubble in the jar, leading to concerns about the amount of product. Liz Earle’s customer care team responded by explaining that jars are filled to a minimum of 52ml to guarantee 50ml of product, and that movement in transit can cause “wells” to appear in the formulation.
Some shoppers have also raised issues with the £10 Tuesday deal itself, including delivery costs and out-of-stock items. Boots charges £3.95 for standard delivery, or free over £25, while click and collect costs £1.50, or free over £15.
