Liz Earle's Energise & Glow™ Body Lotion 200ml has been reduced from £25 to £17.50 in a limited-time deal on the beauty brand's website. Mature shoppers have praised the product, with one saying "nothing comes anywhere near" it.
The lotion uses prickly pear, sea buckthorn and birch water to moisturise, brighten and retexturise the skin. The brand says it is intensely moisturising and helps to leave uneven skin looking radiant and replenished. Infused with brightening botanicals, it also has an uplifting bergamot scent.
Shoppers praise the 'beautiful product'
One customer aged 65+ said: "Glowing. Lovely and soft on my skin and smells amazing. Will not use any other." A second aged between 55 and 64 wrote: "Beautiful product, beautiful fragrance! Really makes my skin silky smooth!" A third in the same age range commented: "The body lotion is absorbed quickly and the smell is divine. A beautiful moisturiser."
A five-star review from someone aged 45 to 54 reads: "Bought approx 3 weeks ago for the first time, I use this daily in the week on work days as it is absorbed quickly and you can dress immediately. It leaves a lovely fresh, uplifting scent of bergamot which lingers throughout the morning. My skin, which tends towards being naturally dry, is smooth and well hydrated. Will definitely buy again."
Other deals in the Glow range
The lotion is part of Liz Earle's Glow range, which also features a Cleanse & Glow™ Brightening Cleansing Balm for £21 (was £30). The balm is enriched with naturally active ingredients such as acerola cherry and leaves skin looking radiant while removing makeup and impurities.
Other finds include the Cleanse & Glow™ Transforming Gel Cleanser for dull and lacklustre skin (£19.60, was £28) and the Revitalise & Glow™ Radiance Reveal Night Cream, which works to brighten and even skin tone for £19.60 (was £28). Shoppers can currently get up to 30% off selected Liz Earle products until Monday August 31, 2026.
Mixed reviews and alternatives
One user aged 65 and over deducted a couple of stars for the product's consistency, writing: "The body lotion is much thinner than I expected but it does mean that it is easily absorbed. It does a reasonable job and the smell is ok but it doesn't wow me, hence the three stars."
Despite this, another mature customer wrote: "I bought this on a whim and I am so glad I did. It is a lovely moisturiser and smells amazing. My skin is so dry at the moment with the cold weather and this is an absolute godsend." A final shopper aged 45+ commented: "I've tried lots of body lotions but when I tried this I couldn't believe it. It's the most incredible feeling on your skin, nothing comes anywhere near."
Elsewhere on the high street, the ESPA Bergamot & Jasmine Body Lotion is £18.40 down from £23, and at Boots, the Vaseline Intensive Care Mature Skin Rejuvenation Body Lotion 400ml is priced at £7.50.
