Lidl is selling a pair of hiking boots that look nearly identical to high-end options at ASOS and Berghaus, priced at just £17.99, or £15.29 for Lidl Plus members. The supermarket, which has roughly 1,000 stores across the UK, offers the CRIVIT Ladies' Hiking Boots in-store only, so shoppers hoping for home delivery will be disappointed.
At a glance, the boots have a smooth black look that could suit a number of outfits, with a bright orange clip adding a pop of colour and a burgundy sole for extra edge. The boots feature a treaded TPR sole with cushioning EVA midsole, breathable mesh upper, padded ankle collar, and a moulded removable insole. Sizes range from 4 to 7.5.
Similar Styles at Higher Prices
The Lidl boots bear a striking resemblance to more expensive shoes elsewhere. ASOS sells the similar-looking Columbia Trailstorm Ascend Mid Hiking Boots for £90, with a red-coloured sole and dark fabric design. Stock is dwindling at the time of writing, so shoppers should check the ASOS website.
Meanwhile, Berghaus offers the Men's Revolute Active Mid Shoes in black and grey at £150, the more premium option, with only sizes seven, nine, 11 and 12 currently in stock.
