Lidl's middle aisle, similarly to Aldi's Specialbuy section, is an ever-changing aisle in the centre of its supermarkets, stocked with a surprise selection of items, ranging from power tools and air fryers to gardening supplies and homeware.
Stock in the middle of the store generally changes every Thursday and Sunday, with shoppers seeing a host of new items introduced. This week Lidl is stocking summer clothing and bedding as well as other homeware for the office and kitchen. There will also be back to school, arts and crafts, and cycling essentials.
Kitchen
Sunday (June 21) will see a range of kitchen items coming to the Middle Aisle. There will be Silvercrest branded items including an electric grater (£24.99), kettles (£15.99), and an ice-cream maker (£14.99). Shoppers will also find the 17L Russell Hobbs 17L Stainless Steel Microwave (£59.99). Other kitchen essentials on offer will include baking trays, glass food storage containers, fruit baskets and chopping boards.
Summer clothing
Thursday (June 18) will see new summer clothing arrive at Lidl including the Esmara Ladies Cotton Muslin Blouses (£5.99) and Ladies Muslin Shorts (£4.99) which each come in blue, white or yellow. There will also be the Esmara Ladies Short Pyjamas (£4.99) which come in a floral or lemon print. Shoppers will find cycling shorts and vest top multipacks too.
Men's clothing includes the Esmara Men's T-shirts in navy or white (£2.79), Men's Shorts in dark blue or dark green (£6.99) and Men's Short Pyjamas in navy or blue (£4.99). There will also be Lidl's signature branded clothing in the yellow, blue and red shades of the supermarket's logo. This will include sliders (£3.99), socks (£1.99), bum bags (£4.99), clogs (£4.99) and reversible bucket hats (£4.99).
Hobby
Lidl will introduce arts and crafts activities on Thursday, with plenty of DIY sets, painting materials, and drawing tools. The Crelando LED Light Pad for £9.99 is perfect for tracing and design work, while for younger kids and fashion fans, the Lena brand is offering a variety of designer kits including scrunchie, headband, and Taylor love bracelet makers priced at £7.99 per set.
Shoppers can also find character-themed Tape Art Cards featuring Unicorn Academy, Monster High, and Rainbow High, alongside a selection of scratch art books and diamond painting sets, all available for either £2.99 or £3.99. The Crelando range also includes acrylic paint sets in basic, pastel, and neon colours for £3.99, which can be paired with flat or round paint brush multi-packs for £2.99. There are also single canvases and multi-packs available for £3.99, plus Marabu Creabox dot art painting sets for £4.99. Finally, Lidl is offering 24-packs of fine liners or brush pens, 12-packs of permanent markers, and various 12-piece sketch marker sets for around three pounds each.
Office
Lidl will also introduce office essentials on Thursday with home office supplies, tech accessories, and stationery. Tronic home electronics include black and white A4 laminators for £14.99 and document shredders for £17.99. To keep devices running, shoppers can also find 10,000mAh power banks, USB charging hubs, and four-socket extension leads for under ten pounds each, alongside rechargeable Tronic batteries and a Duracell silicone USB-C cable.
For home utility and monitoring, the Livarno brand is offering radio-controlled weather stations for £9.99, radio-controlled wall clocks for £7.99, and handy three-packs of thermometers and hygrometers for £4.99 to help track indoor humidity and temperature. There will also be printer paper, daily planners, clipboards, notebooks, and various sticky notes from 99p plus multi-packs of ballpoint pens, gel pens, permanent markers, highlighters, and HB pencils mostly priced at £1.29 or £1.49. There will also be pencil cases, paper clips, and tape, alongside glues from Pritt and Pattex for £1.99 each.
Bedding
Shoppers will find new homeware and bedding items on Thursday, including muslin duvet cover sets, available in white or beige, with prices starting at £19.99 for a single, £24.99 for a double, and £29.99 for a king size. There will also be specialty support bedding, including support pillows and leg pillows for £12.99 each, alongside TopCool neck support pillows for £10.99. The temperature-regulating TopCool duvets are also on offer, priced at £10.99 for a double and £11.99 for a king size.
Jersey fitted sheets are available in double for £6.99 and king size for £7.99, with colour choices of white, grey, or green. There will also be patterned tablecloths featuring seashell, leaf, or lemon designs, for £3.49 each.
Crivit cycling
Sunday will see cycling gear and fitness essentials come to Lidl. The Crivit sports equipment and activewear range includes the Bike Workstand (£29.99), alongside Lidl's 'top-pick' mini massage gun available in beige or pink for £19.99. To keep bicycles in top shape, there is a 20-piece bike tool kit (£14.99), a bike torque wrench (£16.99), and various pumps and compressors. Shoppers will also find cycle helmets with rear lights, memory foam saddles, bike cleaning sprays, chain lubricants, and puncture repair kits.
Runners can gear up with backpacks or vests for £14.99, running shoes for £12.99, and smaller accessories like smartphone armbands or running belts for £2.99. Plus there will be yoga mats for £7.99, sports leggings for £6.99, and a variety of men's and ladies' sports tops and bras ranging from £3.99 to £5.99.
Back to school
School uniform essentials will join the Middle Aisle on Thursday, featuring school pinafores, available in black or grey two-packs for £6.99, two-packs of jersey trousers or jersey skirts for £4.99, plus individual pairs of trousers, shorts, or pleated skirts for £1.75 each. Two-packs of classic or scalloped-collar polo shirts are £1.75, and two-packs of short sleeve shirts or t-shirts can be found for under £2.50. For cooler days, there are zip-up hoodies in black or navy for £3.49, as well as black or red sweatshirts for £1.50 each. There will also be sportswear, socks and footwear.
