KP Snacks, the company behind POM-BEAR and McCoy's, has discontinued four classic KP Crisps flavours: Salted, Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar, and Beef. The decision ends decades of production for a brand that originated in 1853 as Kenyon & Son in Rotherham and rebranded as Kenton Produce in 1948, launching crisps that same year.
Which Flavours Are Being Axed?
The four discontinued flavours are Salted, Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar, and Beef. A KP Snacks spokesperson told Metro: 'We have made the decision to discontinue KP Crisps Salted, Cheese & Onion, Salt & Vinegar and Beef as we focus on our wider portfolio. We understand these products have a loyal following and thank consumers for their continued support of our brands.' The crisps were priced from 55p for a 25g single bag to £3.50 for larger or multipacks, and were available online, at pubs, and at corner shops, but not supermarkets.
