Fast-food giant KFC has announced it will keep a significant number of its UK restaurants operational on Christmas Day this year, offering a convenient option for those seeking a break from traditional festive cooking.
Festive Opening Details and Services
Approximately 80 branches across England and Wales will welcome customers on Wednesday, 25 December 2025. The company has confirmed that services will include drive-thru and delivery through major platforms like Just Eat, Deliveroo, and Uber Eats. Notably, some locations will also provide dine-in facilities for those preferring to eat on the premises.
KFC is advising customers to verify specific opening hours online before visiting, as operating times may vary between different restaurants. This move provides a notable alternative for Christmas dining, particularly for key workers, those travelling, or families looking for a simple meal solution.
The Special Christmas Menu
Patrons visiting on the day can enjoy KFC's limited-time Christmas menu. The star offering is the Stuffing Tower Burger, which features a crispy Original Recipe fillet combined with a sage and onion stuffing patty, spicy cranberry sauce, cheese, lettuce, and burger dressing, all served in a brioche bun.
Also returning for the third consecutive year is the Stuffing Stacker Burger, containing two Original Recipe chicken fillets. Brand Manager James Channon commented on its popularity, stating: “The Stuffing Stacker is back for the third-year running, earning its rightful place as a festive icon. We’re proud to be establishing a new Christmas tradition that is undeniably golden, crispy, and always chicken.”
