Kate Garraway's 12-Tonne Gravel Blunder Blocks Her Driveway

Kate Garraway, the Good Morning Britain presenter, found herself locked out of her home after accidentally ordering 12 tonnes of hardcore for a garden project, instead of the two tonnes she needed.

The 58-year-old shared a video on Instagram showing the massive pile of rubble blocking her driveway, leaving her unable to reach her front door. 'I thought it was gonna be a lot less! Why didn’t they send it in bags?' she said, laughing at the mix-up.

Garraway had to clamber over the heap with a friend's help, joking that the error was entirely her fault. 'I can’t even blame anyone else,' she said, calling the situation a 'disaster'.

Fellow GMB host Susanna Reid commented: 'Oh Kate – this is UNREAL!' Other followers expressed amusement and sympathy, with one suggesting the delivery company might take back the excess.
