Argos shoppers can pick up the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest: Expecto Patronum Lego Set for as little as £4.17, down from its usual £25 price, thanks to a TopCashback offer for new members.
The set recreates the scene from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban where Harry first casts the spell "Expecto Patronum". It includes five characters, allowing children to role-play the moment Harry summons his Stag Patronus to protect himself and Sirius Black from Dementors.
How the cashback deal works
TopCashback is offering new members a £15 sign-up bonus as well as cashback on any purchase of £15 or more at Argos. This brings the Lego set down to £4.17 after cashback. Existing Argos customers who are new to TopCashback will receive a slightly reduced rate, making the set £4.92 after the offer.
These prices are calculated with free click and collect; standard delivery costs from £4.95 or is free for small items on orders over £100. To take advantage, shoppers need to make their purchase through the unique TopCashback link. Cashback is not paid instantly and can take up to seven days to land in accounts.
Set features and suitability
The set is suitable for children aged seven and up. Kids can adjust the trees' branches to shoo away the two Dementors and turn the heads of the Harry Potter and Sirius Black minifigures for alternative facial expressions. With supervision, children can use the Lego Builder app, which offers zoom, rotate in 3D and progress tracking with digital instructions.
The set contains 244 pieces. Some reviewers noted it is a quick build, with one shopper saying it took "about 20 mins or so", while another said it took "about two hours to complete". The set functions primarily as a static diorama, lacking the interactive play features of larger Wizarding World sets.
Customer reviews
The set has received glowing reviews. One shopper said: "As someone who is a big Harry Potter fan, I absolutely love this set. It's very easy to put together with clear step-by-step instructions." Another wrote: "The Patronus elements are a real highlight, adding a magical touch to the finished display."
To claim the offer, new members must sign up at TopCashback for free, search for 'Argos' on the site, click through and buy the item normally. The £15 cashback is received when spending £15 or more on an item, and the cashback will track to the TopCashback 'Earnings page' within seven days of purchase.
