Passengers departing from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) can benefit from one hour of free parking when using the twilight bag drop service, which allows travellers to check in hold luggage the night before a flight.
How the free parking works
Those using the twilight bag drop service can park in the Drop-off 2 car park and receive one hour of free parking while checking in their luggage. Any time beyond that hour, or use of alternative car parks, will incur a charge.
To receive the free parking benefit, customers must obtain a ticket from the kiosk for the Twilight Drop-off Zone. If a ticket is not obtained, customers will be required to pay the full parking fee upon exit. No refunds will be provided for parking charges incurred due to failure to obtain a ticket.
Which airlines and times apply
The twilight bag drop service is available to easyJet passengers whose flight departs at or before 7.30am, Jet2 passengers travelling on flights due to take off at or before 12pm, and Ryanair customers scheduled to depart at or before 8am.
Having completed online check-in the evening prior to the flight, bags can be dropped off at Liverpool Airport check-in desks during the following times: Jet2 between 4.30pm and 9pm, easyJet between 7.30pm and 9pm, and Ryanair between 6pm and 9.30pm.
