Everton are bracing for a hectic final two days of the summer transfer window, with several deals in the works. Beto is reportedly travelling to Italy for a medical with Fiorentina, while a £9m deal for Kenny Tete appears on track. The club is also interested in re-signing Jack Grealish from Manchester City and could see Iliman Ndiaye leave for Tottenham Hotspur, with former favourite Richarlison potentially returning in a separate transaction.
Beto Set for Fiorentina Medical
Reports late on Sunday night suggested that Beto is on his way to Italy to undergo a medical with Fiorentina, amid talks of a £15m move from the Blues. Fiorentina need a new forward after agreeing to sell former Everton striker Moise Kean to Como.
Everton reporter Chris Beesley is preparing a piece on the latest regarding Beto and Folarin Balogun. It was extensively reported yesterday that Everton are attempting to re-sign Richarlison from Tottenham Hotspur, with Iliman Ndiaye moving in the opposite direction as a separate transaction. It appears that the Brazilian is not the only forward the club is interested in.
Tete Deal on Track
Before having a day off following another dramatic day at Bournemouth, Everton correspondent Joe Thomas noted in his transfer round-up that a summer of interest in Guele Doue, Alistair Johnson, Timothy Castagne, and Daniel Munoz could end with a return for Kenny Tete. The club thought Tete would sign last summer, but he instead signed fresh terms with Fulham.
It does appear that the Tete deal is very much on track, with Paddy Boyland of The Athletic reporting that a £9m deal is in the works.
Grealish and Balogun Links
The Blues are also interested in re-signing Jack Grealish from Manchester City. With Beto reportedly on his way to Italy, David Moyes could look to add further firepower up front, with AS Monaco's Folarin Balogun being linked.
After Everton's owners, The Friedkin Group, pulled the plug on talks to sell rising star Harrison Armstrong to Nottingham Forest following a fan backlash, the club still appears willing to let Iliman Ndiaye leave for Tottenham Hotspur. The make-up of David Moyes' squad will become clear by 11pm tomorrow night.
