The Living and Home Electric Oil Heater is available at Yimbly for £46, reduced from £86.99, as temperatures drop across the UK and households face higher energy bills following the October rise in the Ofgem energy price cap.
The electric heater is promoted for its high performance and quick heating capabilities. Its key highlight is energy efficiency and potential to save money, achieved through three power options: 1,000W, 1,300W, and 2,300W.
Silent operation and safety features
The heater is suitable for use day and night thanks to its silent operation, which is especially helpful for those needing a heat boost while winding down in the evening. For safety, it includes overheating protection.
One customer review on Yimbly reads: "Excellent Little Heater. Easy to use and really heats the room quickly. Bought for my 92 year old mother in law and trust me if she's happy everyone's happy Fast delivery too…. many thanks."
Alternative heaters and limitations
Shoppers seeking a different option could consider the Dimplex HeatLite Smart Convector Heater at £75, which comes with a companion app for control and can heat large rooms up to 20m2. Alternatively, the Warmlite Thermo Fan Heater is available on Amazon for £14.99, with two heat settings and extra protection against overheating.
Customers should note that the Living and Home heater does not offer a wide array of heating options compared to some other products, particularly those with more fine-tuned temperature controls. While compact, it may still be too large for those who only need to heat very small rooms or want a heater small enough for desks and tables.
