The Spector Automatic Bread Maker Machine is now available for £59.40 at Yimbly, after a price cut from £82.99 and an extra 10% off with code AUTUMN10 at checkout. The deal includes free delivery and represents a saving of £23 on the original price.
Features and settings
The compact countertop appliance features a 600W motor and a 2lb capacity, making it suitable for families. It offers 19 pre-programmed settings for various loaves and doughs, plus three crust settings for light, golden, or dark results.
The non-stick bread pan and kneading blade allow loaves to slide out easily, and the design minimises washing up. A 15-hour programmable delay lets users load ingredients the night before, while a 10-minute memory function resumes the cycle after a power failure. An automatic 60-minute keep-warm function maintains the loaf at serving temperature. The machine comes with a measuring cup, spoon, and kneading attachments.
Larger model and alternatives
Shoppers seeking a bigger option can consider the 25-inch Spector Bread Maker, also at Yimbly, reduced from £137.99 to £109.99, and to £98.99 with the AUTUMN10 code. This stainless steel model includes 25 programmes, touch controls, an LCD display, three loaf sizes, a delay start, keep-warm mode, and a power recovery system.
At Amazon, the Morphy Richards Fastbake Breadmaker is reduced from £81.99 to £68.99, offering 12 programmes, three loaf sizes, three crust settings, and a 50-minute Fastbake function. Argos stocks the Panasonic Fully Automatic Breadmaker at £200, with 31 programmes and the ability to make jam and cake.
Customer feedback
While the Spector machine has no reviews on the Yimbly website, Amazon customers have shared positive experiences. One buyer called it a "very impressive machine," noting it surpassed their previous model. Another said it was "really good and well worth the money," recommending it to anyone wishing to make their own bread. A third praised the delay timer, saying they had made five loaves "all of which have come out beautifully."
One less impressed buyer noted it lacks a clear sourdough function, calling it "a bit hit and miss." Another described it as a "lovely little machine, so easy to use," adding that it was not too noisy and recommending it.
The AUTUMN10 code offers 10% off across all departments on Yimbly until November 30.
