Shoppers are snapping up Debenhams' 3m outdoor freestanding parasol with LED lights, now reduced from £164.99 to £79.01. The discount of £85.99 represents more than half off the original price for a limited time.
The parasol features a sturdy powder-coated steel frame and a simple crank mechanism for easy opening and closing. Its generous canopy is waterproof and UV-resistant, with a built-in air vent to allow heat to escape and cool breezes to circulate. As dusk falls, 24 integrated solar-powered LED lights provide warm illumination for alfresco entertaining.
The product has received eight five-star reviews on Debenhams' website. One customer described it as 'excellent quality at a fabulous price', while another called it a 'fabulous price for a very sturdy garden parasol' with solar lights that make it 'perfect for the garden on summer nights'.
However, not all feedback was positive. One buyer gave a one-star review, complaining that the cross base provided does not hold the umbrella and that the instructions were poor. Debenhams recommends purchasing a weighted water base separately for maximum stability.
For comparison, Dunelm sells a similar 3m cantilever parasol for £79, while Sainsbury's Habitat offers a 3m overhanging garden parasol at £110.
