A thrifty shopper from Manchester is celebrating after finding a designer coat in a charity shop for just £6, only to discover its true retail value is up to £293.
Holly Wood, a psychology coach, regularly shares her bargain finds with her 29,000 TikTok followers. During a recent trip, she spotted a cream puffer coat from the label Peacebird, which she described as 'perfect for the season'.
After purchasing the coat, Holly looked up the brand online and was astonished to find similar coats selling for between $100 and $400 (£73 and £293) on the company's website.
In a video that has garnered 199,000 views, Holly expressed her excitement: 'I honestly cannot believe this coat - it is perfect for the season, and I'm just praying that it fits properly.' She added that the coat felt premium despite not recognising the brand.
Viewers were equally impressed, with one commenting: 'Love the coat, just started watching you.' Another said: 'Amazing finds. Love it when you unknowingly find a massive bargain.'
Holly concluded: 'I'm actually obsessed with it. So not only did I find a bargain that I loved anyway, but it's a really, really quality piece that can stay in my wardrobe for years to come.'
