A charity shop shopper has shared his excitement after buying two sets of Laura Ashley curtains for just £25, with plans to resell them for £250. The discovery was made by Chris, a reseller on eBay and Vinted, who shared his find on TikTok.
First Set: Wisteria Duck Egg in Pistachio
The first set, which included three matching tie backs, four cushion covers, and a headboard cover, cost Chris £20. He identified it as the Wisteria Duck Egg in Pistachio colour and noted that similar sets have sold for good money. He plans to sell this set for £170.
Chris explained in his video: "Right so I got a nice charity shop find for you the other day. Now firstly I don't always bother picking up curtains in charity shops, I'll be completely be honest with you, I can't be bothered with the hassle of having to measure them. But I do know there are some decent money in reselling curtains and this set in particular was too good to leave behind. Because these were a set of Laura Ashley curtains as we know, these sell for decent money."
Second Set: Basic Matching Curtains
The second set, also Laura Ashley, was tagged at just £5. Chris couldn't identify the design but plans to list them for around £80. He said: "Now these are just a basic set of two matching curtains and so far I can't identify this design but I think I'll be looking at listing these for around £80. So hopefully £25 into £250 for two lots of curtains."
