Cadbury Dream White Chocolate, discontinued 24 years ago, has returned to UK shelves. The bar is now stocked at discount retailer B&M, where shoppers can buy it for £2.99.
Return of a 2000s favourite
First launched in 2001, the creamy white chocolate was discontinued just a year later, in 2002, with the manufacturer citing changing customer tastes as the reason for its swift departure. B&M has shipped the rare bars directly from Australia, where the recipe remained in production.
Other retro treats back in stores
Cadbury Astros, a space-themed biscuit-and-chocolate hybrid that originally hit the market in 1997, have also been spotted by shoppers. Astros vanished from Britain in 2008, but these colourful spheres are now being imported straight from South Africa. Retro sweets lovers can pick up boxes of them in B&M stores for £1.30.
The mint-flavoured Cadbury Twirl has also reappeared on shelves for £1, bouncing back after its brief domestic run sold out a few years ago.
