Burger King restaurants across the United Kingdom are diving into Bikini Bottom with a brand new, limited-edition menu inspired by the upcoming cinematic adventure, 'The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants'.
What's on the SpongeBob SquarePants Menu?
The special promotion, which began on December 2, offers fans a taste of the animated ocean. The headline item is SpongeBob’s Krabby Whopper, served on a distinctive yellow square bun and loaded with classic toppings like American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and sauces.
Accompanying the burger are Mr. Krabs’ Cheesy Bacon Tots, featuring fluffy potatoes mixed with cheese and bacon, presented in a carton shaped like the Krusty Krab treasure chest. For a sweet finish, patrons can enjoy Patrick’s Star-berry Shortcake Pie, a layered dessert with star-shaped sprinkles, or a Pirate’s Frozen Pineapple Float beverage.
Bundle Deals and Collectible Toys
For those wanting the full experience, the Bikini Bottom Bundle packages several items in a special pineapple-shaped 'Under the Sea Box'. Younger fans are catered for with the King Jr. Meal, which also comes in the themed box and includes one of six collectible SpongeBob toys plus a limited-edition crown.
"This latest partnership with The SpongeBob Movie might just be our most exciting menu yet," said Joel Yashinsky, Chief Marketing Officer for Burger King US&C, in a statement. "We're ready for SpongeBob this month with delicious menu innovations and one-of-a-kind kids toys."
Limited-Time Fast Food Promotions in Full Swing
Burger King's nautical offering is part of a wider trend of time-limited restaurant promotions. Notably, rival chain McDonald's has concurrently launched a Grinch Meal for the holiday season, featuring special seasoned fries and themed socks.
The Burger King SpongeBob menu will be available only for a limited period, coinciding with the film's theatrical release on December 19, 2025.
