Boots has reduced the Macmillan 24 Days of Joy Beauty Advent Calendar from £90 to £44, offering customers the festive countdown for less than half price as part of the high-street retailer's launch promotion.
The 24-day Christmas calendar is packed with beauty products from brands including No7, Liz Earle and Champneys. Contents range from hydrating lip masks to age-defying face creams and perfumes, giving shoppers the chance to sample new formulas or stock up on favourites.
What's inside the calendar
Highlights include the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, the No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Advanced Night Cream and the Champneys Nourishing Hand Cream. For every calendar purchased, £2 is donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Alternative beauty advent calendars
Other beauty advent calendars are currently on sale, including the £109 Avant option with 25 doors. That skincare-centred countdown contains £1,029 worth of products, though shoppers can buy it for substantially less, delivering savings over £900.
For a more budget-friendly option, the Revolution Beauty Advent Calendar is available at Superdrug for £40, with contents worth £101. It includes a selection of lip, eye and face products alongside beauty tools.
Customer feedback on previous version
The newly launched Macmillan 24 Doors Of Joy Beauty Advent Calendar has not yet received any customer feedback. However, last year's version attracted numerous comments, with one reviewer saying: "The contents are well known brands and there is an excellent range with good sizes too. I bought three because of the great value and to support Macmillan."
Another satisfied customer said: "A fabulous gift for my daughters. I bought them these last year and they loved them so much, they requested them again this year." Some buyers were less impressed, with one noting: "Wasn't that impressed for the price a lot of repeat brands."
