Shoppers are already snapping up B&M's autumn range, with pumpkin mugs, plush pumpkins and cosy bedding starting from as little as £1.50. The range includes Halloween-themed items, wreaths, tea lights, fabric pumpkins and lamps inspired by harvest time.
Shoppers find bargains despite summer heat
Lucy Alexandra, a former employee at P Louise, visited her local store one evening and found it almost empty. Still, she uncovered several finds, including a Happy Halloween cushion featuring coquette-style ghosts and ghouls for £8, plus ghost statues priced at £15.
Lucy has always "loved autumn decor," and browsing the B&M aisle felt like a dream come true. She said: "They had so many good things in here, they had little glass bowls, gorgeous wreaths, they had so many different ornaments."
Customers urged to shop early
Lucy confessed she was "full to capacity" with decor and other bits, but acknowledged she is after more. She said: "I'm not gonna lie, I wanted to buy the whole shop."
She advises customers to get to B&M sooner rather than later because stock is already being snapped up. High-street stores tend to work months in advance, and Lucy noted: "There were Christmas [items] in there already."
