Best Western hotels across the UK are rolling out a free breakfast offer for guests who book a break before the end of July 2026. The deal applies to the entire length of stay and can be combined with the hotel chain's newly launched GEMS (Great Experiences, Memorable Stays) packages, which include sports, golf, spa, seaside, and city break options.
Free Breakfast at Over 200 Properties
The offer ends on July 28, 2026. With household budgets still under pressure, hotel breakfasts can easily add £40 or more per day for a family, making this promotion particularly valuable. Best Western has over 200 properties across the UK, including five in Wales, such as the Best Western Aberavon Beach Hotel overlooking Swansea Bay and the Gower Peninsula, and the Lamphey Court Hotel and Spa.
World Cup Watch Parties and Sports Packages
With the 2026 World Cup currently dominating screens, selected Best Western locations offer dedicated sports packages or lounge bars, allowing guests to watch matches in comfort. These bundles combine a hotel room with local experiences, dinners, or extras, simplifying trip planning.
Golf and Spa Breaks
Many Best Western hotels offer specific packages tailored for golfers, including accommodation and course access. For those seeking relaxation, spa packages are available at Signature Collection Hotels, such as a Sunday Slowdown Spa Break at Ringwood Hall Hotel & Spa, a Twilight Spa Escape at Moor Hall Hotel, or an Afternoon Tea and Spa Experience at Castle Bromwich Hall Hotel.
Seaside and City Breaks
Best Western has a range of seaside hotels along UK coastlines including Brighton, Blackpool, Newquay, and Scarborough. City breaks are also popular, with as many as 12 properties in London and many more in York, Manchester, Bristol, and Edinburgh, offering heritage and urban escapes.
Guest Reviews
One guest at the Best Western Aberavon Beach Hotel called it a "Brilliant hotel," adding: "A first class experience pleasant stay, staff very helpful, rooms good, breakfast just what you want, good place to stay." Another who stayed at the Premier Heronston Hotel & Spa said: "We were looking for somewhere to stay that was local to a beach and luckily this hotel is nearby Ogmore by sea. We had a lovely spacious room. We have 2 small children and the hotel went above and beyond to help us for all our needs." A third guest at the Lamphey Court Hotel & Spa commented: "Absolutely spot on. The staff on arrival were excellent, kind and patient. Went out of their way to accommodate us. Nothing was hurried. Room was spacious & spotless. I wanted to take the bed home. Food in both restaurants was really good & breakfast although buffet style was all fresh (I’m a fussy breakfast eater) A perfect stay - trying to find an excuse to go back."
Some reviews were less impressed, with a guest at the Pontypool Metro Hotel noting: "The views from the hotel are not brilliant however everything else was very good. The room was spacious and clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and efficient. The lounge area was small but adequate. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. All in all a very satisfactory stay." Another guest at the same hotel shared a different opinion: "I came and stayed here when I was setting up a new retail store on the park. Safe car park, friendly staff. The bar is 24/7 which for me was great as I was working overnight shifts. Thank you for an easy stay, Me and my partner already planning to come back already."
