Black Friday 2026 has already brought significant savings on major tech brands, with retailers including Argos, EE, giffgaff and Mobiles.co.uk launching early deals on TVs, smartphones and consoles. This year, Black Friday falls on Friday, November 27, but shoppers can already find discounts on big-name products.
iPhone 18 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S26 deals
Among the first offers is on Apple's iPhone 18 Pro at Mobiles.co.uk, where both the 18 Pro and Pro Max come with a data boost. On iD Mobile's 24-month contract, each model includes 500GB of data for the price of 100GB at £52.99 and £56.99 per month respectively, with a £75 upfront cost. The retailer has urged shoppers to 'hurry' while stocks last. Prices are due to rise annually, with the £52.99 tariff increasing to £54.79 from April 2027 and £56.59 from April 2028.
The iPhone 18 Pro is cheaper at Sky Mobile, costing £38 per month and £12 upfront, but it only includes a small 100MB data allowance unless a larger bundle is added. Choosing Sky's unlimited data bundle for an extra £21 (was £28) brings the total to £59 per month on a 36-month contract.
For Android users, giffgaff is offering up to £440 off Samsung's Galaxy S26 lineup. Monthly prices for the Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra are now £27.25 and £37.12 respectively, both with a 200GB allowance. The handsets have an upfront cost of £20 and £25, with the first month of the airtime plan also paid upfront, bringing totals to £32 and £37. These deals deliver savings of £350 and £440 over the life of the contracts.
TV offers at Argos and Very
Argos kicked off its Black Friday sale before the end of October, with a standout deal on a 58-inch Samsung Crystal UHD 4K Samsung Vision AI Smart TV at its 'lowest price ever' of £329. The retailer has not stated the previous price, but the deal beats Amazon and Samsung, which do not stock the 58-inch model, only the 55-inch, for a pricier £349.
Shoppers have praised the Crystal UHD TV's 'superb' picture and 'quality' sound, with one saying: "This far exceeded my expectations for picture quality especially. A lot of bang for your buck." However, in their five-star review, this shopper highlighted a potential downside: "Without a soundbar maybe the speaker volume is a bit lacking at the top end if you want loud, but I couldn't recommend it enough."
At Very, a 65-inch Hisense E6 4K UHD Smart TV is £340 off at £459 (was £799), matching Argos's discounted price. Released earlier this year, the TV features AI capabilities including a 4K upscaler and smoother motion, plus a dedicated mode that optimises picture and sound when it detects sport, and Game Mode Plus to reduce lag. Audio is powered by DTS Virtual:X surround sound, with access to Freely, Netflix, Disney+ and more. Very customers have awarded it a perfect five-star rating, with one saying: "This surprised me with just how incredibly sharp and vibrant the picture looks in person." Another said the picture is 'amazing' while the sound is 'the best [they've] had'. Some noted it may need updating to unlock all features, with one saying: "I had to update the TV when I tried to connect to the AI setting but that was really quick."
Gaming and streaming deals
EE has rolled out gaming deals including a PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Console with a £100 gift card. For £594.99 or £13.43 over 48 months, shoppers receive the 825GB model console along with vouchers to spend on the PlayStation Store, intended for a pre-order of Grand Theft Auto VI but usable for anything on the store. It saves £25 from the usual price, though the console on its own is available at retailers like Very for £519 and GAME for £519.99.
Amazon has yet to roll out its Black Friday deals, but the Fire TV Stick range is expected to see price cuts. Prices currently start at £59.99 for the Fire TV Stick HD, which dropped to £19.99 in Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days event last month. Discounts are expected across the range, including the 4K and 4K Max models, all of which can be reduced further by shopping through TopCashback. During Amazon's last sale, this method reduced the HD model as low as £4.57. Some models now prevent sideloading or installing apps from unknown sources, so only apps from the Fire TV Amazon Appstore will be available.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE is £150 off at Samsung and EE for £549 (was £699), with a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display, an advanced triple camera system and Samsung's new interface with premium features and AI tools. Technology Editor David Snelling said: "The screen is good, the cameras will snap nice images, it's brimming with AI upgrades and there are useful extras such as fast charging and full support for seven years. It's clearly a very good phone that many people will enjoy using."
Argos also has £150 off a 65-inch Hisense 4K QLED Canvas TV at £799 (was £949), designed to imitate a picture frame and display artworks on its 4K Quantum Dot screen, with Dolby Vision, HDR10 and DTS Virtual X surround sound. It has earned a perfect five-star rating after two reviews, with one saying: "Brilliant for gaming and sound quality when watching a 4K film, the contrast, brightness and glare are all good and the smoothness and interface is very good." Another said: "If you're looking for something that becomes a picture on your wall without a black box in the corner then this is for you. The picture quality [and] sound is more than good enough [and] there is zero reflection up close – it even looks like an oil painting." The same buyer added: "The only nag I have [is] I would like the motion sensor to have a larger scope, 10 feet away seems to be its limit."
The Nintendo Switch 2 is reduced in EE's sale with a £15 discount, bringing it to £404.99 or £10.75 per month over 48 months, which beats Argos's £419.99 price tag. Amazon currently offers it for a cheaper £389.99 (was £419.99).
