What the Playset Offers
The Barbie Dream Pool Playset features six play areas including a pool, slide, hot tub and snack station, plus more than 20 accessories. The pool can be filled with water for an instant pool party, and Barbie dolls (sold separately) can go down the slide to make a splash. Pressing a lever makes bubbles form in the hot tub, and a snack station adds to the fun.
Elsewhere, the Playmobil Family Fun Aqua Park Small Pool with Water Sprayer costs £24 on Amazon. Suitable for children aged four and above, it features a fillable pool, a working yellow hand pump, a spray gun, two figures and a removable anglerfish costume. Alternatively, the Bluey Pool Time Fun Playset costs £12 at The Entertainer, with Bluey in her swimsuit ready for pool play with donut and unicorn floaties.
Shopper Reviews and Considerations
The Barbie Dream Pool Playset has an overall star-rating of 4.9 out of five based on nine reviews. One shopper said: "I bought this for Christmas for my daughter. I’m sure she will love it and got it at great value." Another wrote: "Bought for my granddaughter's birthday and she loves it. Easy to assemble and hours of fun."
However, the playset does not come with any Barbie dolls, which could be an issue if none are already owned. Once assembled, the pool is nearly 60cm wide and tall, taking up significant floor space. One reviewer noted: "My daughter put this top of her list for her birthday and was so excited to see she had it. She has played with it constantly since she received it and loves to play with it with and without water. Her younger brother likes to join in too. I recommend putting a towel or waterproof mat down to catch the splashes if using water. Great toy for any Barbie fan."
To claim the Barbie toy for as little as £28.13 via TopCashback, shoppers should sign up as a new member for free, search for 'Argos' on the site, click through and buy the item normally. They will get £15 cashback when they spend £15 or more on an item, with the cashback tracking to the TopCashback 'Earnings page' within seven days of purchase.
