Aldi's £25 boots 'look like' £80 designer pair

Aldi is set to launch a new collection of women's boots that closely resemble a premium outdoor brand's design, but at less than a third of the cost. The supermarket's upcoming Special Buys, available from Thursday, October 22, include the Warm-Lined Neoprene Boots from Crane, priced at £24.99.

The boots, offered in black and stocked in sizes 4 to 12, feature a rubber construction with a "warm textile lining" on the interior. Aldi says the waterproof footwear will "keep feet warm, dry and comfortable whatever the weather."

Similar style at a fraction of the price

Shoppers seeking a budget-friendly alternative may find these boots comparable to the £79.99 Sherpa Webbing Boots from Hunter, available via Amazon. The Hunter version, described by Amazon, includes a "textile and synthetic upper," "textile lining and insole," a "pull-on style closure with stretchable material," "pull tabs for added comfort," a "round toe silhouette," and a "synthetic outsole."

Much like Aldi's offering, the Hunter boots feature a similar fleece lining, though the supermarket's version comes in black while Hunter's boots and fur come in contrasting colours.

More Special Buys on October 22

Aldi's middle aisle will also feature a mixed selection of items next week, including toys from the latest event, seasonal outdoor gear, and household items. Shoppers can find character and leading-brand toys such as Bluey, LEGO, and trending squishies, starting from £1.99.

The sale will also include outdoor wear and accessories for men, women, children, and pets. As with all Specialbuys, these items are available in-store only while stocks last.
