Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash Moving to Eight-Bedroom Essex Estate
Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash Move to 30-Acre Essex Estate

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are reportedly planning a move to a sprawling eight-bedroom Essex estate with 30 acres of land, as the couple look to leave Pickle Cottage behind for a fresh start. Four years after getting married at Pickle Cottage, the TV duo are said to be relocating to a renovation project down the road, according to sources.

New Property Details

The new house comes with 30 acres of land, a swimming pool, and a lake. Stacey, 36, and Joe, 44, have “fallen in love” with the property, a source revealed. The move gives them a chance to put all the speculation around their marriage to bed.

“It’s a fresh start,” the source said. “Pickle Cottage has been a place where Stacey and Joe’s relationship has been up and down. Stacey won a National Television Award while living there, they got married there, she stepped back from Loose Women. As well as some lovely times, they’ve had quite a tough time there, too.”

Family and Previous Relationships

The couple share children Rex, seven, Rose, four, and three-year-old Belle. Stacey has Zachary, 18, and Leighton, 14, from a previous relationship, while Joe has Harry, 19, from a previous relationship. The increase in space for their large family and the chance to give the new property a makeover are attractive to DIY enthusiast Stacey.

“This house needs a bit of love and work to make it the absolute dream home where they can make new memories,” a source told The Sun.

Addressing Marriage Rumours

There have been plenty of storms to weather while living at their £1.2 million home. As well as dealing with criticism of their BBC TV show, Stacey & Joe, including hurtful remarks about the way they come across, the couple have had to brush off rumours that things aren’t great between them.

After photos of Stacey not wearing her wedding ring surfaced, she addressed the speculation on the Sort Your Life Out Unpacked podcast. She told host Dilly Carter, “Who cares if the whole world is like, ‘Oh, they’re on the brink of divorce.’ Being in the public eye creates certain pressures, but not on our relationship. If we know it’s not true, who cares?”

She added of her husband, “Sometimes I fancy the pants off him and can’t wait to come home to see him. Sometimes I’m like, ‘Get out of my stratosphere – stay away from me.’ I think we’re just like any other couple.”

Positive Step Forward

Our source says that relocating will give them a chance to move on from any bad memories. “Joe is quite spiritual and thinks there is nothing really there but bad luck,” the source explained. “They want to move somewhere else, they’ve got a big family and they want new beginnings, a new place, and it will help things. They’re sick of the marriage rumours, but this is a positive step.”

Pickle Cottage was also the birthplace of their two youngest children – Rose and Belle – and home to their expanding collection of pets, which includes ducks, chickens and dogs. But the duo are said to be looking forward to getting stuck into a new refurbishment project.

“Stacey loves new projects and she’s going to put all her skills into making it a lovely home,” our source said.

Upcoming TV Series

Meanwhile, the third series of their reality show airs this summer, with plans for a fourth yet to be confirmed. But with strong ratings to date, it’s likely in the pipeline, and our source is sure we’ll see the renovation work on screen. “They’re going to be filming it all, and there’ll be lots more content from the move there.”
