Ricki-Lee Coulter's $3.5m Redfern Property Investment
Ricki-Lee Coulter buys $3.5m Sydney rental property

Australian radio presenter and singer Ricki-Lee Coulter has made a significant property move, purchasing a beautifully restored heritage terrace in Sydney's inner-city suburb of Redfern alongside her husband Richard Harrison.

A Strategic Property Acquisition

The 40-year-old Nova drive time host and her manager husband have invested $3.5 million in the vintage two-storey home, which sits just 3km from Sydney's CBD. This marks a substantial increase from its last sale price of $1.1 million in 2010, demonstrating the area's significant property value growth over the past decade.

The couple plans to capitalise on their investment by placing the property on the rental market for $1,650 per week, according to reports from The Daily Telegraph. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home represents a strategic addition to their property portfolio.

Heritage Charm Meets Modern Luxury

Built in the early 1900s, the Redfern property retains much of its original character while benefiting from thoughtful renovations. Period features include an ornate iron lace balcony, decorative awnings, and a gorgeous façade that preserves the building's historical integrity.

Inside, the home boasts three preserved fireplaces alongside contemporary additions including a spa bath and multiple skylights that flood the interior with natural light. The creative layout seamlessly connects the dining and kitchen areas to a private courtyard complete with BBQ space and built-in seating - perfect for indoor-outdoor entertaining.

Property Portfolio Strategy

This latest acquisition follows the couple's sale of their previous home on Sydney's northern beaches just over two years ago. Their Avalon property, purchased for $1.1 million in 2014, sold for $2.8 million in 2023, representing substantial capital growth.

Currently, Ricki-Lee and Richard reside in a luxury high-rise apartment in Darlinghurst, for which they pay $4,000 per week in rent. Their impressive residence within The Residence building offers three bedrooms, three bathrooms and stunning views overlooking Hyde Park and Sydney Harbour.

The building has attracted other high-profile residents, including Australian singer Delta Goodrem, who purchased a two-bedroom apartment there for $4.8 million in 2018. The couple's current rental property last sold in 2013 for $4.48 million.

The luxury apartment complex offers residents premium amenities including a gym, steam room, spa, 24-hour concierge service, sauna, 20-metre pool and wine storage facilities.

The property moves come as the couple recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary in August, marking the occasion with a dinner at the prestigious Bennelong restaurant at the Sydney Opera House. Ricki-Lee first began dating Richard in 2009 before they married in 2015.
