A homeowner has publicly recounted a frustrating and ongoing neighbourhood dispute centred on her private parking spaces, after neighbours repeatedly demanded access to her three-car driveway without consent. The situation escalated when one neighbour attempted to park a trailer on the property while the homeowner was away shopping, leading to a confrontational exchange.
The Initial Confrontation Over Parking Spaces
According to the woman, the trouble began shortly after she moved into a new house featuring an extended driveway capable of accommodating three vehicles. She noticed neighbours on both sides giving her disapproving looks when they realised she was not utilising all the available parking spots. The neighbours quickly started pestering her about leaving some spaces empty, despite them being clearly situated on her private property.
She explained, "From the very beginning we have had both neighbours to the sides of us immediately start hounding us about if we are going to use all of our parking spaces. Our house has an extended three parking space lot on the back of it." Despite her firm and repeated refusals, the neighbours refused to accept her answer, prompting her to contact her landlord for intervention, which temporarily halted the harassment.
