Plans have been lodged for a new Home Bargains store in Dudley, Northumberland, as part of the latest batch of Tyneside planning applications.
Retail and housing proposals
The construction of a new Home Bargains is proposed on land east of Weetslade Depot, Great Lime Road, Dudley, Northumberland.
In Wallsend, plans include a new retail unit at ground level with a six-person house in multiple occupation (HMO) on the second floor at Atkinson Terrace and 19 Station Road. Another application covers a new retail unit with five self-contained apartments above, along with some remodelling to the rear at 24C Bewicke Road.
Community and industrial changes
At Wideopen Football Club on Great North Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, the installation of two 20-foot shipping containers for storage use is proposed.
An industrial unit at DMI Young and Cunningham Building, Gloucester Road, West Chirton Industrial Estate, Middle North Shields, could be converted into a daytime dog training and boarding facility.

Plans also include the erection of five three-storey townhouse-style terraced dwellings, with rear amenity space, on land adjacent to Hatfield House, Borough Road, North Shields.
