Exclusive new aerial photographs have revealed the significant construction progress on radio star Jackie 'O' Henderson's multi-million dollar dream home in Sydney, nearly three years after she secured the prime plot of land.
From 1960s Home to Coastal Palace
The ambitious build, located in the sought-after beachside suburb of Clovelly, is rapidly transforming the site. The original 1960s-era six-bedroom, three-storey home has been completely cleared, creating a vast, open canvas for the new residence. The property, for which Henderson paid a substantial $13.25 million at auction in March 2023, is perched on a clifftop offering sweeping, panoramic ocean views.
Current images show that work on the expansive ground level is almost finished, a key milestone in the project. A large construction crew is on site, with heavy machinery, cranes, and excavators actively shifting soil and laying foundations. Extensive brickwork is already helping the mansion's footprint take shape, while scaffolding outlines where the future multi-level structure will rise.
Hands-On Approach from the Radio Queen
Jackie 'O' Henderson is not taking a back seat in the creation of her dream home. The Kyle and Jackie O Show co-host has been frequently visiting the property to monitor developments firsthand. Earlier this year, she shared a snapshot of herself with the construction team on social media, jokingly captioning the post, 'Site meeting.'
She has been regularly updating her followers on the progress via Instagram, having previously shared videos of the demolition process for the old property back in December. The new mansion is set back from the road, offering the celebrity a level of privacy she lacked at her former Woollahra address, which she sold for a handsome $2 million profit.
A Vision of Luxury Overlooking the Ocean
The scale of the construction hints at the magnificent coastal palace it is destined to become. The design plans, which Henderson teased to fans in February, indicate a sprawling, multi-level residence meticulously planned to maximise its stunning coastal position. With the crystal-clear water of the coastline just metres from what will be her front door, the site already exudes an air of luxury and grandeur.
The project is moving along steadily, with the construction crew now preparing for the next phases of work. When complete, the mansion will stand as a celebrity-worthy palace in one of Sydney's most scenic and desirable locations, just 9 km from the CBD.
