Headlam Cuts More Jobs After Administration

Flooring firm Headlam has cut more jobs and shut more trade sites after falling into administration. The company, which entered insolvency last month, has cut a further 64 jobs and closed 25 trade counters, after previously announcing the closure of 28 counters and 154 job losses.

Company Background

Headlam was valued at more than £500 million at its peak, according to reports. The firm had been in business since 1948 before its recent financial difficulties.

Impact of Administration

The latest job cuts bring the total number of redundancies announced since the administration to 218, with 53 trade counters now closed across the UK.
