Dunelm has slashed the price of its Grace Jute Rug by 50%, bringing the 200cm x 290cm size down from £359 to £179.50. The rug, which appeared in Country Living magazine, has garnered praise from shoppers who describe it as 'gorgeous' and say it 'amazes' guests.
Design and Materials
The Grace Jute Rug features a scalloped edge and a simple border design, handcrafted by skilled artisans in India. Made from hard-wearing jute, it is suitable for high-traffic areas and can be placed under furniture due to its low profile. Dunelm recommends vacuuming with a specific nozzle attachment and blotting spills immediately with a dry cloth. An anti-slip mat is advised for hard floors.
Shopper Reviews
The rug holds a 4.5-star rating from nearly 40 reviews. One shopper wrote: 'This rug is just the best. The scalloped edge and pink line just matches my conservatory decor perfectly.' Another said: 'Saw this rug in Country Living magazine. I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived, great quality.' A third added: 'Rug really gorgeous. Everyone who’s seen it so far have been amazed at quality and style.'
However, some customers reported issues. A three-star review noted: 'Gorgeous rug, looks great, but after only a few weeks it’s already got a hole in it.' A one-star review stated: 'Not worth the money. All frayed at edges, bits hanging out where the jute isn’t tied off properly.'
