Luke Littler, the 18-year-old darts sensation, has reportedly used his £1 million World Championship prize money to purchase a five-bedroom house in Warrington, Cheshire, for his parents. The property, described as a 'stunning extended family home', features a hot tub, solar panels, and an open-plan kitchen.
Littler, who won his second Sid Waddell trophy earlier this month by defeating Gian van Veen 7-1 in the final at Alexandra Palace, is said to have spent nearly all of his winnings on the mansion. The house, located on the outskirts of Warrington where he grew up, is intended to be his parents' 'forever home', according to a source close to the player.
The teenager had previously been renting a luxury £6,000-per-month property in the area with his mother Lisa and father Anthony Buckley, who works as a taxi driver. The new home, which last sold for £710,000 in 2021, boasts five bathrooms, landscaped gardens, a double garage, underfloor heating, a log-burning stove, bi-fold doors, wine coolers, and a high-spec kitchen. The master bedroom includes a dressing room, vaulted ceiling, and balcony.
The source said: “Luke's a young man. He's bought this place and is living there with his mum and dad but in time he'll spread his wings and the hope is they will stay there. It's not a bad Christmas present for them but it's only what they deserve having done everything to help him get where he is today.”
Littler, who has accumulated over £2 million in prize money on the professional circuit, also purchased a personalised £39,000 BMW M Sport 120 in November after passing his driving test. He recently revealed plans to spend some of his winnings on collectable football cards.
