Luke Littler Buys £1m Luxury Mansion for Parents After World Darts Win
Darts Star Luke Littler Buys £1m Warrington Home for Parents

Teenage darts superstar Luke Littler has made his first major property investment, purchasing a sprawling £1 million luxury mansion in his hometown of Warrington. The 18-year-old world number one is understood to have used a significant portion of his prize money from successfully defending his World Darts Championship title to buy the home outright, with plans for it to become his parents' 'forever home'.

From Rented Accommodation to a 'Forever Home'

Following his extraordinary and rapid ascent in professional darts, Littler had been living with his mother, Lisa, and father, Anthony Buckley, in an exclusive rented property costing £6,000 per month. His recent £1 million payday from his dominant 7-1 victory over Gian van Veen at Alexandra Palace last week has now allowed the player nicknamed 'The Nuke' to take a monumental step onto the property ladder.

A source close to the family revealed that the sprawling five-bedroom property on the outskirts of Warrington, Cheshire, was bought with his parents in mind. 'Luke's a young man. He's bought this place and is living there with his mum and dad but in time he'll spread his wings and the hope is they will stay there,' the source said. They added that the purchase was a deserved gift for his parents, who supported his career from the beginning.

Inside Littler's Luxury Property Upgrade

The new home represents a dramatic lifestyle change for the Littler family. They have moved from a modest £180,000 two-bedroom semi-detached house in the town to a lavish corner-plot residence described by estate agents as a 'stunning extended family home'. The property last changed hands in January 2021 for £710,000 and was marketed last year for close to £1 million.

The mansion boasts five bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, alongside landscaped gardens, a double garage, and ample driveway space. High-end features include underfloor heating, a log-burning stove, bi-fold doors, and a high-specification open-plan kitchen designed for entertaining, complete with wine coolers.

Outside, the home is built for leisure and social gatherings, featuring artificial lawns, resin patios, raised beds, a dedicated bar area, and a hot tub situated beneath a pergola. The showpiece master bedroom includes a separate dressing room, a vaulted ceiling, and a Juliette balcony overlooking the rear garden.

A Meteoric Rise to Fortune

This property purchase underscores the incredible transformation in Luke Littler's life since he burst onto the professional darts scene at just 16. Having now earned over £2 million in prize money in just two years on the circuit, plus lucrative sponsorship deals and Premier League earnings, his total net worth is estimated to be around £6.5 million.

The darts prodigy, who first picked up a dart at 18 months old, attended Padgate Academy and lived in Warrington with his parents and sister. His recent successes have allowed him to enjoy other trappings of fame, including buying a personalised £39,000 BMW M Sport 120 just days after passing his driving test in November.

When asked about his plans for his Alexandra Palace winnings, Littler had mentioned spending on collectable football cards and 'a few boxes' to watch his beloved Manchester United. However, his first major expenditure has been this significant and heartfelt investment in his family's future, ensuring their security in a luxury home in the area where he grew up.
