The Alasdair Morrison & Mundys name is being retired from its Newark and Southwell offices, as the business completes the next stage of its integration with Mundys. From 1 October, both branches will trade simply as Mundys, ending the combined branding introduced after the acquisition of Alasdair Morrison & Partners’ sales division in 2024.
The two offices will be brought fully under the Mundys name, although their existing teams will remain in place.
Acquisition leads to single brand
The businesses have operated together since the 2024 deal, with the Newark and Southwell operations becoming part of Mundys’ wider regional network. Mundys operates across residential sales and lettings, commercial property, surveys and valuations, new homes, mortgages and protection.
Senior partner Simon Bentley said: “While the name above the door is changing, our commitment to our clients and the communities we serve remains the same.
“We have spent the last two years working closely together and have seen first-hand the benefits that combining our local expertise with the wider strength and resources of Mundys can bring.
“Trading under one name will allow us to build on that success and offer our clients even greater opportunities, while continuing to provide the personal, professional service they expect from our experienced local teams.”
Branches remain in place
The Newark and Southwell branches will continue operating from their existing locations with the same staff.
