Tottenham's Dream 2026/27 Squad: Rashford, Senesi, and Palhinha in De Zerbi Rebuild
Spurs Dream Squad: Rashford, Senesi, Palhinha in De Zerbi Rebuild

Tottenham Hotspur face a pivotal summer transfer window, provided the club secures Premier League survival. New boss Roberto De Zerbi may significantly overhaul his squad to prevent another relegation battle. Spurs have endured a miserable season, claiming their first league victory since December only last weekend. They sit two points from safety with four matches remaining.

Goalkeepers

Guglielmo Vicario has been first choice since 2023, but Inter Milan are reportedly interested. De Zerbi may trust Antonin Kinsky, who has looked composed recently despite a major setback against Atletico Madrid. The 23-year-old could become number one if Vicario departs. Spurs are also linked with Freiburg and Germany U21 international Noah Atubolu, who could compete with Kinsky. Brandon Austin retains his place as third-choice goalkeeper.

Defenders

Securing survival would allow Spurs to retain Cristian Romero, Pedro Porro, and Destiny Udogie. However, Micky van de Ven, linked with Liverpool and Manchester United, could be sold to raise funds. Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi, expected to become a free agent, is a top target. Andy Robertson could also join from Liverpool. Young loanee Luka Vuskovic will return from Hamburg to provide cover alongside Kevin Danso, while Radu Dragusin departs. Djed Spence offers an alternative to Porro, and promising left-back Souza will go on loan after Robertson's arrival. Ben Davies will leave at the end of his contract.

Midfielders

Joao Palhinha's loan from Bayern Munich could be made permanent for around £21.7 million if Spurs avoid relegation. De Zerbi is well-equipped in midfield and is unlikely to sell Archie Gray or Lucas Bergvall. Pape Matar Sarr is in talks with Fenerbahce and could leave, while Yves Bissouma approaches the final months of his contract. James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski will return from lengthy injuries, offering competition for Xavi Simons. Rodrigo Bentancur and Conor Gallagher provide further options.

Forwards

Randal Kolo Muani is unlikely to stay beyond his loan, while Richarlison and Mathys Tel have struggled. Spurs are linked with Marcus Rashford if he cannot secure a permanent move to Barcelona. The England international would play on the left wing, with Wilson Odobert as an alternative. Jarrod Bowen could be signed from West Ham if Spurs survive at their expense. A fully fit Mohammad Kudus would compete on the right. Dominic Solanke remains the focal point, with Al-Hilal striker Marcos Leonardo emerging as a backup option.
