Nottingham Haulage Firm Martyn Barratt Transport Enters Administration

Martyn Barratt Transport Limited, a haulage company based in Nottingham, has gone into administration. The firm appointed administrators on 13 April 2026, with the announcement made public via the London Gazette on 21 April.

The company, which has been trading since 2000 and celebrated its 25th anniversary last July, operates a fleet of more than 60 vehicles. Its services include warehousing, distribution, and vehicle repair, with a 60,000 sq ft secure warehouse and a two-bay workshop staffed by qualified HGV technicians.

No details have yet been released regarding the company's future or potential job losses. The administration follows the recent collapse of UK Truck and Plant Group Limited, another commercial fleet vehicle firm, which appointed administrators on 9 April.
