Woodward Aircraft Engine Systems has received planning permission to build a 1,900 square metre extension at its facility on Shawfarm Road in Prestwick, South Ayrshire.

The exact cost of the extension has not been disclosed, though planning documents describe the project as a “significant investment.” The plans were approved by South Ayrshire Council under delegated powers.
