NS&I has announced the winners of the June Premium Bonds draw, including two £1 million jackpot winners. Savers in Wales are encouraged to check their Bonds, as several significant prizes were awarded to holders in the region.
Three £100,000 prizes were won by Bond holders in Wales, with winners from Cardiff, Mid and South West Wales, and North Wales. Additionally, seven £50,000 prizes were awarded to Welsh customers. The full list of winners and their Bond numbers is available on the NS&I website.
The first £1 million prize was claimed by a holder from Cheshire West and Chester, with Bond number 573GA618329, purchased in March 2024. The second jackpot went to a saver from Leeds, holding Bond 662EK268242, bought in February 2026.
From July, NS&I will increase the prize fund rate from 3.3% to 3.8% and improve the odds of winning from 23,000 to one to 22,000 to one. Despite the slim odds, some winners with small holdings achieved significant wins. A Bristol holder won £10,000 with just £10 in Bonds, while a Coventry saver with £50 won £25,000.
Customers can check for unclaimed prizes using the NS&I prize checker tool. With changes to the scheme on the horizon, now is a good time to verify your Bonds.
