EasyJet Partners with Manchester Airport's Private Terminal aether for VIP Service
EasyJet Partners with Manchester Airport's Private Terminal aether

EasyJet has announced a partnership with Manchester Airport's private terminal, aether, allowing its passengers to book a premium airport experience. The service includes private check-in, security, exclusive lounge access, and chauffeur-driven transfers directly to the boarding gate.

Located in a separate building to Terminals 2 and 3, aether opened in November 2024 and offers a luxury airport experience. Passengers from any airline can use the terminal from £199 per person, but only with cabin bags. Those with checked luggage must be flying with a partner airline. Initially, partner airlines included British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Hainan Airlines, SAS, Turkish Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic. EasyJet has now joined this list.

What the aether Package Includes

EasyJet passengers can book the inclusive checked bag package from £199, which grants full access to aether's amenities. This includes exclusive check-in and security screening, use of the aether lounge, and a dining experience curated by chef Adam Reid, a two-time winner of Great British Menu. Alcoholic and soft drinks are included, and lounge capacity is limited for added privacy.

When it's time to fly, guests are chauffeured directly to their boarding gate. The service is also available for arrivals at the same price, where passengers are met at the aircraft, chauffeured to the private terminal, and benefit from seamless passport control. Their checked baggage is collected and personally returned to them while they relax in the lounge.

EasyJet's Perspective

Kevin Doyle, UK Country Manager at easyJet, said: "While easyJet is known for providing great value fares and friendly service for everyone, we know that our customers also value the fantastic range of choice we offer and we’re always looking at more ways to enhance our customer’s experience when they fly with us. So, we’re delighted to be partnering with aether to offer our customers the choice to book a VIP experience when flying from Manchester Airport, providing a premium and personalised airport journey, whether travelling for business, celebrating a special occasion or simply looking to add a luxury touch to their trip."

About aether and CAVU

Aether is owned and operated by CAVU, a subsidiary of Manchester Airport Group that handles aspects of the passenger journey such as lounges and parking. Tom Waldron, Chief Experiences Officer at CAVU, said: "We have seen clear demand for an airport experience that feels really considered and personal. Further expanding our roster of participating airlines is a major milestone for aether, and it means more passengers travelling from Manchester can choose an elevated airport journey, on both departures and arrivals."
