Nationwide Confirms June Dates for £100 Fairer Share Payments

Nationwide Building Society members should keep an eye on their accounts as the mutual has confirmed key dates for its £100 Fairer Share payment. More than four million loyal customers are set to receive the bonus this year, marking the fourth consecutive year of the scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for the £100 Payment

To qualify for the Fairer Share payment, customers must hold a current account with Nationwide and also have either a mortgage or a savings account with the provider. Additionally, they need to have maintained certain account activity over recent months. Nationwide began contacting eligible members from May 21, but some customers have not yet received notification.

How to Check Your Eligibility

One customer expressed concern on social media, stating they had not heard anything about their eligibility. Nationwide responded by advising members to use the chat service in the banking app or internet bank. Alternatively, customers can use the eligibility checker on the Nationwide website or read the full terms and conditions. The eligibility checker involves answering a series of multiple-choice questions, after which it indicates whether the customer qualifies.

However, even after being told by the bot that they were eligible, the customer noted they had not received the payment. Nationwide clarified that payments would be made between June 10 and June 30, 2026, directly into eligible members' current accounts.
