Meghan Markle has announced the launch of a new lavender honey for her lifestyle brand As Ever, just days before she is set to return to the UK for the first time in four years. The Duchess of Sussex will accompany Prince Harry on a five-day trip to Britain next month to mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games in Birmingham.
New Product Announcement
On Sunday, Meghan teased the upcoming product on As Ever's Instagram page with a photo of honey in a pot accompanied by a spoon and the caption 'a hint of lavender'. The following day, she sent a newsletter to As Ever customers confirming that the brand will launch lavender honey on Tuesday. The new honey is sourced from Spain.
According to the brand, the lavender honey offers 'a delicate warmth that lingers beautifully'. As Ever already offers three types of honey: wildflower, orange blossom, and sage.
Upcoming UK Visit
The product launch comes as Meghan prepares to travel to the UK for the first time since September 2022, when she attended the late Queen's funeral. She is scheduled to join Prince Harry on visits to the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London and an Invictus event at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
Prince Harry is reportedly working to arrange safe travel for his wife and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, amid concerns about their security and accommodation. There is hope that King Charles III will be able to reunite with his youngest grandchildren for the first time in four years.
