Adrian Portelli was receiving the royal treatment on Tuesday as he departed the Gold Coast following a buck's party. The billionaire, aged 37, ensured he had assistants on hand to carry his belongings while boarding his private jet.

Portelli had a staff member holding a large umbrella over him to shield from the rain. Despite having his laptop with him, he refused to carry his own suitcase, leaving that task to another staffer. The businessman was seen strolling casually while a burly man carried his large, silver carry-on case. Dressed in a white shirt and black track pants, Portelli appeared relaxed for the short flight.

Fuel Price Slash Makes Headlines

Last month, Portelli announced a dramatic reduction in fuel prices at his new Melbourne petrol station. The Australian billionaire launched the LMCT+ petrol station in Preston in April, initially selling unleaded petrol for 99 cents per litre. He later cut the price to just 49 cents per litre.

Portelli took to Instagram to share a video of himself kicking the price sign before it changed to 49.99. Sporting a cheeky grin, he declared, 'F*** the system,' before walking out of frame. In a subsequent clip, he joked that he had actually increased the price, then revealed the sign reading 49.99, saying, 'Go and get f***ed, 49 cents. You know what? F*** you all – 49 cents, come and get it.'

His discount announcement was met with enthusiastic approval from his 1.2 million Instagram followers. Portelli noted that petrol in Australia hasn't been 49.9 cents since around 1985, and when adjusted for inflation, it's even more significant. 'So, it's fair to say that petrol has never been sold in Australia this cheap ever before,' he said.

Portelli officially opened the first of his chain of petrol stations last month, where he was mobbed by fans for several hours. The event culminated in one of his infamous giveaways of $1 million.
