A woman has sparked debate after refusing to continue giving her colleague daily lifts to work, following an entitled outburst. The driver, who shared her story on TikTok, had been driving her co-worker for eight months without asking for money, as they lived nearby and had the same start time.
The incident occurred when the driver texted her colleague to say she would be a few minutes late due to a pharmacy stop. The colleague replied with a thumbs-up emoji, but when the driver arrived, the colleague was in a bad mood, slammed the car door, and snapped at her for being late.
During the journey, the colleague complained about unreliable people, saying some think they're doing a favour when really they're making life harder. Shocked, the driver later told her colleague she would no longer give lifts, citing a schedule change to avoid an argument.
The colleague then branded her 'petty and selfish' to other coworkers. While some friends advised her to let it go, many online supported her decision, with one commenter recalling a similar experience where they left a rude colleague on the roadside.
